Ansteel Group Has Developed Ti60 High Temperature Titanium Alloy
Recently, the Beijing Research Institute of Ansteel Group successfully developed Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy, with the first industrial-grade ingot weighing 3 tons. This product fills the blank of Ansteel Group in the field of alloy research, development and preparation.
It is well known that at present, the maximum operating temperature of traditional high-temperature titanium alloys is 600℃, and the composition of Ti60 materials is extremely complex, containing a variety of high melting points, difficult to melt, and easy to isolate elements, and it is very difficult to control vacuum smelting. In order to meet the development needs of high-end titanium materials, the special titanium materials team of the Vanadium-titanium Branch of the Beijing Research Institute of Ansteel Group took Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy as the focus of research and development, carried out technical research, and formed a research team with Pangang Chengdu Institute of Advanced Metal Materials Industry Technology and relevant researchers of the Jiangyou Branch of the Titanium Company. The research team successfully trial-produced Ansteel Group's first 3-ton heavy industrial grade Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy ingot.
The relevant person in charge of the special titanium materials team of Vanadium and Titanium Branch said that the successful preparation of industrial-grade Ti60 high-temperature titanium alloy ingots has expanded the space for the development of high-end titanium materials of Ansteel Group. In the future, the team will continue to increase innovation and research, develop and manufacture more high-end titanium materials, and realize the transformation and upgrading of Ansteel Group's titanium alloy industry.
