Welding Process Of Large Titanium Alloy Joints
1. Edge Preparation: Prepare the edges of the titanium alloy joint according to the requirements of the welding process.
2. Cleaning and Preheating: Clean up the welding area of the titanium alloy joint and preheat evenly according to the requirements of the welding process.
3. Tack Welding: Use argon arc tack welding for the first two or three passes at both sides of the titanium alloy joint to prevent the weldment from being deformed or shifted.
4. Welding: Use double-wire argon arc welding to repeatedly weld the titanium alloy joint according to the requirements of the welding process.
5. Inspection and Repair: After welding, use visual inspection and other methods to inspect whether there is any defect in the joint, and repair it if necessary.
6. Post-Weld Treatment: After the welding is completed, carry out stress relief heat treatment or other post-weld treatments according to the requirements of the welding process.
