Debut: Titanium Alloy Frame For British Mountain Bikes
The DMR Trailstar frame is made of titanium alloy this time. In 1996, the prototype frame made of low molybdenum steel became a legendary product for British hard-tail mountain bike fans. The most recent upgrade was in 2016, when it already supported a wheel diameter of 27.5", and the tire clearance supported by the frame reached 27.5"+. In a blink of an eye, in 2024, this frame that supports 29" wheel diameters brings a horizontally sliding rear axle design. Moreover, in response to the trend of the times, the steeper upper tube of the frame no longer exists.

The price of the DMR Trailstar frame is £1,800, but the Trailstar frame is a few hundred dollars cheaper than the recently launched Revel Tirade frame, which also provides similar features, but the angle of the frame's riser is slightly looser. However, the frame can enjoy a lifetime warranty, while DMR products only have a five-year official warranty.
Both frames are equipped with sliding rear axles, which can be compatible with single-speed kits and support rear fork length adjustment. The adjustment range of the rear end of the Trailstar frame is 425mm - 435mm, while the adjustment range of the Tirade frame is 420mm-437mm.At the same time, only the Tirade frame is compatible with the rear dial.
The Tirade frame is available in five sizes, suitable for drivers with a height of about 1.55m - 2.03m. Trailstar has only two size options, which are only suitable for the middle part of the average range. The front extension range of the L2 and L3 frames is 460mm and 480mm, respectively. The riser is relatively short (395mm & 430mm) and bends down at about two-thirds. The L3 frame is said to weigh 2.10kg.
