Japanese Deep-sea Diving Survey Vessel

Japan's manned deep-sea survey ship " deep-sea 6500”can dive into the depths of the 6500-meter ocean for earthquake investigation, seabed topography investigation, geological and deep-sea biological investigation. In the deep sea at a depth of 6,500 meters, each square centimeter area of the object is subjected to 680 kg of water pressure. The cockpit of the ship is arranged in a spherical pressure-resistant shell made of lightweight and sturdy #titanium alloy to ensure that the crew will not be hurt by water pressure. The hull is built of buoyancy material, which can keep the diving ship floating. During deep diving, the ballast tank is placed in and released into the sea to adjust buoyancy.
